TESTIMONIALS

The Women’s Leadership retreat was incredibly empowering.  The stories, experiences, and networking with other women, who understand my journey, helped me uncover my true potential.  The experiences and stories that I shared,  has made me feel leaving the retreat with a renewed sense of purpose and value on the importance of coaching and mentoring  future women leaders.  The self-reflection exercises allowed me to stop and take a moment to focus on my own wellness and realize I am not alone on this journey.  I have set goals for myself, created a plan and know that I have a network of amazing women leaders, with like-minded goals, as a support system.   Kelly and Kris created an environment where women can flourish.  They focused on us and created this retreat for us to realize our own potential with the symbolism of courage over comfort through the transformation of a lobster.

I am extremely grateful for the space and experience you created for me and other women leaders this past fall. I wish we had a little more time together to go deeper into a few of the concepts and continue to reflect on how we show up daily both personally and professionally.

It was extremely beneficial for me to have time to reflect and learn with other women leaders, especially time away with the ladies that serve on my senior administration team. Personally, I found the conversations and reflection on emotional agility and self-care to be  helpful. Since the retreat, I continue to practice self-awareness and develop my awareness by naming particular emotions and when needed, identifying what is causing a particular emotion and being aware of my response, actions, and words associated with it. This has been helpful both personally and professionally and allows me to replace particular emotions to be more kind to myself and others.

As mentioned, sharing this experience with other team members was truly a highlight. Our bond deepened over those two days and serves as a strong foundation as we continue to lead and embrace such complex and demanding roles.
